Two of the most beautiful towns near Puebla, Zacatlán and Chignahuapan are well known for their natural beauty, artisanal handicrafts, and enchanting small-town lifestyle. These two lovely, colorful, and emblematic towns are designated Magical Towns, and they offer great views of Puebla’s mountain range. This tour is a must-do when visiting Puebla!
Our first stop is a Zacatlán, where you can visit the waterfalls, artisanal flower clock, ex-convent and church, and the clock’s museum. Stroll to the lookout point to admire the magnificent Jilgueros rift.
Our second stop is only 30 minutes away in Chignahuapan, a town famous for its Christmas decorations. There, we can visit one of the workshops to learn about the elaboration of these handmade decorations.
