Learn About the History of Puebla and Talavera Pottery

Discover a magical colonial city! Take a walk through history as you explore Puebla’s streets, admire beautiful architecture, sample traditional candy, and learn about the most famous style of pottery in town: Talavera.

Certainly, Puebla is one of the most important cities in Mexico, not only for its food, but also for all the extraordinary architecture of its buildings, museums, churches, and historical background. On this tour, you can explore the Cathedral, the tallest in Latin America; the Palafoxiana Library, the first one in the New Spain; and of course, the Rosary Chapel, considered the Eighth Wonder of the World.

We also visit a Talavera factory — an antique style of pottery — to see the production process, and we stroll through old neighborhoods and the Handicrafts Market.

What’s Included:

  • Tunnels and archeological site admission fee
  • Two candy tastings per person

Note to Customer:
